WebQuest
As I prepare to teach ED331 - I am exploring the extensive volume of WebQuests that are out on the internet. The following Slide Share presentation discussses WebQuests and ties them into web 2.0. I like this space which ties into constructivist theory and has a clear method for producing quality web-based lessons.

Ants - Learning from emergent organization.
What can we learn from the way in which ants organize themselves? This has been the topic of many article and books (such as Emergence). And now has been simulated in SecondLife. Click on the YouTube video below to view this simulation and while you are watching, think about other educational simulations that could be scripted like this.
I have also included a link to a article written and presented at the International Lean Construction Conference titled, "Swarm intelligence and ant colony approach - can they be applied in optimizing construction processes"? This article provides an example of how practitioners are attempting to understand this theory and apply it. Click on the "ant" below to gain access to this PowerPoint presentation.
